The New 'Doctor Who'

The Doctor's at it again... After the long wait, we've finally gotten a new doctor. But then, what do we really think of it? Now, when I say we've got a nre Doctor, I not only mean that there is a new actor, but there are also new executive producers, ie. head director and head writer.
It's still early, so this is just a preliminary overview.

The Doctor: Matt Smith, the youngest doctor ever, has taken up the reigns to become the new doctor. Most will say, that it's a difficult task, some even, impossible. However, he seems to have a natural playfullnes and charm that is endearing. Plus, I think that the one thing that we see in this doctor that is quite new, is a vulnerability that previous doctors have been scared to show. I think that there's a lot of potential. I think the acting from the first two episodes is top notch.

Amelia Pond: A red-headed scot. Ie. pretty and stubborn. I like her. She's got the insecurity of the little girl that we saw in the first episode, as a little girl, and she's got the grit of Donna Noble.

The directing is interesting. In the first episode they did an entire section in one shots. It gives an interesting view- slightly broken.

It's the writing I'm slightly worried about. At the moment it seems too easily solvable. However, like I said, it's still early. This is just a beginning to the series, and after each episode I'll update.
